About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and scale robust microservices that power our platform. As a polyglot engineer, you will work across a diverse technology stack, choosing the right tools for the right problems. You will write clean, maintainable code while taking ownership of system architecture, deployments, database performance, and infrastructure scalability.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (master’s preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available microservices in distributed architectures.
  • Implement Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS for reliable asynchronous service-to-service communication.
  • Build task queues and background job pipelines for heavy, latency-sensitive workloads.
  • Implement Redis and Memcached caching to reduce database load and improve system performance.
  • Optimize SQL/NoSQL queries, schemas, and bottlenecks in high-throughput environments.
  • Develop production-grade applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python. Framework like NestJS, FastAPI.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated, zero-downtime deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in senior technical roles.
  • Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and scalable design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, message queues, and asynchronous background processing.
  • Strong experience optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases, indexing, query performance, and caching.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
